| The Minidoka National Wildlife Refuge covers 20,721 acres, including 11,000 surface acres of Lake Walcott. The refuge is home to more than 50,000 ducks and geese year-round and up to 100,000 during the spring and fall migrations. Migrating tundra swans can be seen in spring in shallow bays and shores of the lake. |
