Although this is not a large zoo, it is a wonderful experience. It is set among the trees, which makes it a pleasant no matter what the weather. We visited on one of the hottest days of the summer, but shade from the tall trees kept us relatively cool. My kids enjoyed the variety of animals. The smaller size of the zoo kept us close to the animals. The highlight of the trip for them, though, was the Red Bat.
