I felt that this was a really diverse zoo in transition. I was surprised at the amount of birds, a lot more than I have seen in any other zoo.

The directional signs to the zoo, to zoo parking and even within the zoo were hard to find.

I felt that while some exhibits have definitely been updated, some of the exhibits were a bit dated. Some animals were far away (giraffe) and other animals were very close (monkeys).

Overall we enjoyed the trip. We went from 9:30-11:00am, rode the choo-choo train and left.

I went to the zoo with my daughters grade school class. It was fun and the kids were accutally good. We saw every animal they could have ever captured. They kids had a good time. The prices of the food was OK and the price to get in was good. Over all I would recommend it for a days outing.
