This restaurant is fabulous! Born and raised in NY,and this is by far the closest to true Italian NY food! Everything was fresh and homemade! The fresh mozzerella is made there! The entrees were fantastic! Pasta not too soft not too hard!! The desserts were wonderful! The service was terrific and i was impressed that the owner was there and even checked on the meal and its quality! cant rave enough about this wonderful new find!!

This restaurant's food is just as good as the best Italian food in the little Italian neighborhoods in New York. Is is the freshest I've ever tasted, and seasoned the best. I'm from out of town, and my family took me there and it was fabulous. The choices of wine are outstanding, and they had a lot of knowledge about the best wines to have with our entrees. the service was pretty quick. I liked the atmosphere, and everyone was really friendly. I can't wait for my family to take me there the next time I visit.

IT WAS A BIRTHDAY DINNER WITH A FRIEND AND I HAD MET THE OWNER AND KNEW A WAITER THERE, SO IT SEEMED A GOOD CHOICE TO TRY. IT STARTED GREAT WITH A GOOD CHIANTI RECOMMENDATION, AND THE FRIED GREEN TOMATO APP WAS INCREDIBLE. IT WENT DOWN HILL FROM THERE.
FROM THE SCREAMING CHILDREN RUNNING AROUND, TILE FLOORS MAKING THEIR SCREAMS LOUDER AS NO ONE ATTENDED THEM, TO THE ENTREES.
MY FRIEND HAD THE MANNACOTI WHICH WAS DECENT. I HAD THE VEAL SALTIMBOCCA. PORTIONS WERE SMALL, AND THE FLAVOR WAS GOOD ON THE MANNACOTI.
THE SALTIMBOCCA WAS A DISASTER! IT WAS TOUGH AND OVER COOKED, LIKE CHEWING CARDBOARD. SAUCE FLAVOR WAS DECENT, SPINACH WAS COOKED WELL. THE CHEESE ON TOP WASNT MELTED AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. WE WERE SITTIN AT THE BAR AND THE OWNER AND HIS WIFE SERVED US, AND WHEN ASKED HOW OUR MEALS WERE I WAS HONEST. HE PLAYED IT OFF AND SAID WHEN ITS BUSY THESE THINGS HAPPEN. THERE WERE 2 PIECES OF VEAL ABOUT 2" SQUARE ON THE ENTREE, AND I MANAGED TO EAT ONE OF THEM AND THE TOPPING. THE OTHER WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE KITCHEN AS I WAS UNABLE TO EAT IT.
THE OWNER NEVER CAME BACK TO TALK TO ME AFTER I TOLD HIM ABOUT THE MEAL, HIS WIFE FINISHED MY ORDER. I HAD THE TIARAMASSO FOR DESERT, WHICH HAD A GOOD FLAVOR BUT WAS RUINED WITH TOO MUCH COCOA SPINKLED OVER IT CAUSING THE DESERT TO BE BITTER. EVEN WORSE, THE COFFEE WAS COLD.
I ACTUALLY RAN INTO THE WAITER LATER AND HE TOLD ME THE OWNER FIGURE I GOT SOME PROSCUTTO ON MY MEAL THAT WAS TOUGH, AND THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. HE ALSO TOLD ME THE OWNER SAID IF I WASNT HAPPY I DONT HAVE TO COME BACK. NO DOUBT I WONT BE BACK.
I PAID THE BILL IN FULL, NOT BEING OFFERED ANY COMPENSATION FOR THE PORTIONS I WAS UNABLE TO EAT AND DIDNT ENJOY.
I WILL NOT BE BACK AND NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN. I HAD TOLD MANY PEOPLE ABOUT IT PREVIOUSLY TRYING TO HELP A NEW BUSINESS OWNED BY WHAT I THOUGHT WERE CARING PEOPLE.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS RESTAURANT. OLIVE GARDEN IS MUCH BETTER IM SAD TO SAY.
